Privacy Policy
Your plans are personal. Here’s how Gay Agenda handles your information.
Effective September 14, 2026
Who we are
MVP App Studio, LLC operates the Gay Agenda app and gayagendaapp.com. This policy covers information processed through our app, website, and support. Contact us at hello@mvpappstudio.com.
Information we use
- Location and searches. If you choose to use your location, iOS provides coordinates so we can find nearby events. Coordinates, your search radius, and city-search text are sent to our services. You can choose a city manually instead. The app remembers your chosen search location on your device.
- Anonymous app session. The app creates an anonymous Supabase authentication session, with a generated user identifier and session credentials. Browsing does not require you to provide your name or email address. “Anonymous” does not mean network activity cannot be associated with that identifier.
- Technical requests. Our hosting and backend providers process information such as IP address, request time, requested event or page, and browser or device information to deliver the service, diagnose problems, and prevent abuse. Viewing an event can reveal an interest in that event.
- Local storage. Event details, your search location, and images are cached on your device to make browsing faster and support previously loaded content.
- Support. If you contact us, we receive your email address, message, and any details or attachments you choose to send.
How we use and share it
We use this information to show events, provide location search, maintain app sessions, operate and protect our services, and respond to requests. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. The current app and website do not include advertising trackers or third-party marketing analytics.
Supabase provides our database, event API, and app authentication. Google Firebase Hosting processes website requests to deliver pages and protect the service. City search uses OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim service through our backend. Event images may load from their publishers or image-hosting providers, which receive the network request. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable protections.
Calendar, Maps, and event links
Adding an event opens Apple’s Calendar editor. You choose whether to save it. Gay Agenda does not read your existing calendar. Directions open Apple Maps. Original listings, ticket pages, and the App Store are operated by their respective providers and follow their own policies.
Sharing an event sends its public GA link using the destination you select in the iOS share sheet. We do not add your name, search location, or anonymous session identifier to the link. The receiving service and people you share with can see the event.
Cookies and retention
The public website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Hosting or access-protection services may use cookies necessary for security or access. App session credentials and local preferences are stored by the app and its SDKs.
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes above, including security, support, and legal obligations. Local event caches are refreshed and pruned as you use the app. Removing the app removes its app-local cache and preferences; it does not itself delete backend records, and credentials held in system storage may persist. Backup and service logs may remain for the provider’s retention period.
Your choices and requests
You can deny or revoke location access in iOS Settings, choose a city manually, and decide whether to save or share an event. Contact hello@mvpappstudio.com to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information. We may need information to verify and locate your records; because an anonymous session has no email attached, we may not be able to identify it from an email address alone. Do not send passwords or session credentials.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a copy of your information, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority. We will handle requests under applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising those rights.
Age, security, and international processing
Gay Agenda is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Tell us if you believe a child has provided information so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.
We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is completely secure. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries, where privacy protections may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate legal protections for transfers.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the effective date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice where required.
